Woman Day

I was researched some pictures that I need to inspiration for woman day pictures. I found the history of Al-Parker, the famous artist.

This is an unique picture. It has a flower in the snow land. I love these same colours between mother and her daughter's dresses.

Both red and white colours in their dresses that impacted me. They look simply and clear picture. Or I should called it Canadian Ski Women, or travel for Christmas holidays.

There're showing blue colour on dress and text, and my eyes are attention on the middle of baby's orange/red hair and pant. They're analogous colours.

I started to idea some draft pictures:

I try to choose one of draft pictures, although, I remembered this armless woman for long time. When I was small, I watched a armless woman who able to live independent and make new family (include her husband and children).
This article of Jessica Cox, "Cox prove it Nothing is impossible to a willing heart."
It makes me feel inspiration and learned how to respect and self-esteem. I was also learned why the women in this world shouldn't be hated themselves when they have arms.

Final, I choose the draft above here. I will draw repeat same armless woman picture with airport, and add family, cook pan, & etc.

This week, I will develop both thumbnail and comprehensive with acrylic paints.

  1. Good work, Sasha -- you're on the right track. Keep going! Use the photo reference to help you as you work on the large pencil drawing for Monday. Be sure to develop the placement of the title "International Women's Day" and the name of your subject and perhaps some smaller type explaining her accomplishments in an interesting way, as in the examples you chose by Al Parker.

Seth Godin's Blog: Speakerphone voice

When the speakerphone is on in the conference room, do you talk differently?  by Seth Goldin It's pretty common. We breathe from a different spot, hold our chest differently, constrict our throats and generally try to shout our words across the ocean. The people listening on the speaker are used to it. The people in the room with you, less so. Human beings don't have a long cultural history with microphones. We don't instinctively understand that they actually work. So we shout instead. And shouting changes how we're believed, trusted and ultimately heard. Learning to use a microphone is a great skill. When you speak normally, it turns out that the microphone has plenty of volts, watts and amps on hand to move your voice all the way to Latvia if you want it to. And then your words will actually be heard. Resource:  Godlin, Seth. "Speakerphone Voice. "  Sethgodin Typepad  Last Modified: Nov 11 2017. http://sethgodin.typepad.com/seths_blog/2017/...

Well, I got it, though with much efforts. Yes, I possessed a mansion, but my children have grown up by then Hence, I longed for them got married. I now have them married, yet official responsibilities give me fatigue Now I resorted to retirement, so to get some rest. Now I am retired, became single just as I was after graduation. After graduation I notice, I approached life, but now, I bid life farewell. Still I do have ambitions. I therefore longed for Quranic memorization... but my memory betrayed me. I longed to frequent fasting... yet my health condition won't allow me to do it. I longed for night devotion "Qiya...

Intelligence V.S Wisdom

Photo by  Priscilla Du Preez  on  Unsplash These are profound distinctions between intelligence and wisdom!  (but both are needed! 😉) 1. Intelligence leads to arguments.     Wisdom leads to settlements. 2. Intelligence is power of will.     Wisdom is power OVER  will. 3. Intelligence is heat, it burns.     Wisdom is warmth, it comforts. 4. Intelligence is pursuit of knowledge, it tires the seeker.     Wisdom is pursuit of truth, it inspires the seeker. 5. Intelligence is holding on.     Wisdom is letting go. 6. Intelligence leads you.     Wisdom guides you. 7. An intelligent man thinks he knows everything.     A wise man knows that there is still something to learn. 8. An intelligent man always tries to prove his point.     A wise man knows there really is no point. 9. An intelligent man freely gives unsolicited advice.     A wise man ke...
